Free yoga & chanting class

11am to 12:30 PM

The first half of the class will be dedicated to gentle movement in coordination with breath. This will prepare us for chanting. Together yoga and chanting help regulate our nervous system and bring our system in a state of harmony. While engaging one’s voice can feel intimidating, the particular form of chanting we teach uses only three notes and requires no prior voice or music training. Our teaching methodology also insures that your own voice is supported by the voice of the group. Very quickly you discover that chanting with others is a joyous practice which lifts the heart and quiets the mind.

Martine Burat is the teacher for this class. She has studied yoga and chanting for over 35 years.
